  Real Estate Development Fund

RED Fund will be one of our initiatives in 2026 where Family Offices, Fund Managers and Institutional Lenders can leverage on our vast knowledge and local connections to seek out feasible projects with solid exit plans.

The US$100 million instrument will leverage as debt, convertible and/or equity for projects in the APAC region. These projects must have at least an 8% fixed interest and/or 20% IRR. Most importantly, RED will provide a Capital Preservation Plan for lenders and investors.

What are some of the core projects

  • In Indonesia and the Philippines, there are urgent requirements by their Government to provide more than 3 million affordable homes yearly. These backlogged Affordable Homes are 100% "sold" to the Government agencies.

  • Energy, roads, rails, ports, water, sanitary infrastructure projects are mounting as population clusters in the cities are growing rapidly. These are also Government "agenda" projects undertaken by private contractors, many lack the funding and resources to complete their tendered projects.

  • Apart from these, there are many viable private projects for residential, resorts, industrial parks and commercial project developments, where developers will seek outside funds when the  banks are strapped.

In 2026, many naysayers are predicting a fall of the US dollar dominance. The Stock market seems to be riding higher, surpassing past records. And as such, some are forecasting a huge correction or fall sometime this year. 

As much as we are concern, regardless or circumstances, LHGI must persevere and strive, ride through any storms and emerge a victor.

So, we must be vigilant and cautious in all that we do, trying our best, expecting the worse, and be ready for the ugly.
